Rick Bone grew up in Birmingham, Michigan. He attended Seaholm High School and graduated in 1984. He earned a BA in Economics and Business from Albion College in 1988. He has continued his education in the field of finance and retirement planning, earning multiple certificates and honors during his 25-year career.

Rick has been married to his wife Sheryl for 21 years. They have 3 children, Max, Ella, and Clayton. They also have two rescue mutts, named Chewbacca and Nelson Mandela III. Aside from work and his kids, Rick is an active supporter of the ARTS community in the city of Detroit. He is a current member of The DIA’s Finance Committee, Treasurer of the Scarab Club, and is the past Vice President of the Board of the Heidelberg Project. Rick also has a passion for coaching youth football at Holy Family Regional School. The coach for the past three years, Rick led his son’s 6th-grade team to an 8-0 record and a Division Championship last year.

As a Registered Investment Advisor, Rick has been helping people with financial services for over 25 years. He is keenly aware of his professional, legal, and fiduciary responsibilities, and takes his moral obligation to do what’s best for his clients very seriously.

Fee-based advisors eliminate the inherent conflict to recommend certain products or services that provide advisors with additional compensation. A fee-based advisor is in a better position to offer impartial investment advice in the best interest of its clients.

Where will my money be kept?
​We never take custody of client assets. We use only unaffiliated, qualified custodians to take custody of client assets. Presently, our qualified custodians are Interactive Brokers, LLC and E*TRADE
